This morning Jim and I made our way to the classic airplane camping area and then over to the ultralight area. It is a blast to watch all the ultralights taking off and landing. It is non stop activity for sure! We took a couple tram rides back over to the home built area to see if we could find a few more Sonex builders to talk too. I took lots of pictures today due to it being my last day to be at Oshkosh. We will be leaving out in the morning for our long journey home.

This morning Eric and I went to see if we could find some free shirts, hats and whatever free stuff we could find. We had a lot of fun working our way through the various vendor areas to see what we could find. By the time we were done my backpack was very full and heavy filled with all kinds of stuff. Later that afternoon we attended a painting your airplane seminar.

Today I attended a couple seminars on test flying a home built aircraft and VW cooling. The three speakers at the test flying your home built were all NASA astronauts that have flown multiple space shuttle missions. They had also built and test flown their own home built airplane. This was a very informative seminar. Later in the day I met up with with some friends from Neosho, MO. Al and Brenda had just completed a Van's RV12 that they flew up to Oshkosh for the show. Later that night they took me to a nice local restaurant for dinner. It was another very relaxing day!
